4th of July Holiday Schedule

Free UTA Parking will be available for the July 3 Arlington Fireworks show in all parking lots and garages. The closest parking available to downtown will be the College Park Garages, located at the corner of UTA Blvd and Center Street.

Free July 4 parade parking will be available in select locations, including F12, F11, Lot 36, Lot 14, West Campus Garage, Lot 46, Lot 56, Lot 50, Lot 51, and all parking West of Cooper.  The following parking lots will be closed from around 6am to 1pm. Any vehicles parked in these locations will be blocked in until after the parade: College Park Garages, F11, Retail 39, Lot 38, F13, KC North, KC South, Lot 52, F10, Maverick Garage.   Lots 49 and 52 will be closed for official parade use.

UTA will close Monday (July 3, 2023) along with the July 4th Holiday (Tuesday). Transportation changes will be as follows for the holiday weekend.

Transportation:

  • The MavMover Shuttle buses will run on Friday (June 30) but will be closed for the holiday weekend returning to normal operations on Wednesday (July 5).
  • The Late Night Security Escort Service will have a shorter time operating over the holiday weekend only. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and check the Transloc app for updated announcements.
  • The RAPID self-driving Via shuttle that operates between UTA and Downtown will run on normal operations Monday through Friday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monitor the Via app for the latest information.
  • The Shopping Green Route will be closed for the holiday weekend but return to normal operations on Wednesday (July 5).
